70th Birthday Party

On the 27th October 2006 Bev McNeill and myself celebrated our 70th birthday.
Two very old friends from my childhood came. Jill Radford(Franklin) bought this photo of myself, Pat, Robert and Jill Franklin on front steps at their home.
I now have another school friend staying with me. I am trying to show Mary O'Connell(Bouffler)(how to set up a blog.

Written in a highly accesssible style and with clear illustrations Blogging is a great starting point for any new or inexperienced blogger.
Must investigate Blogroll. Linking has never been EASIER OR MORE IMPORTANT.
Also would like to follow up idea for making cards and calendars from the blog.
I will take this book to Palm Beach for the week-end.

Jo lent me this picture of the three of us to take up to Philip for his 4oth Birthday. I must get another photo of the 3 of us. Or the 4 of us next time Liz is out in Australia.
 

Bruce Rickard- House at Cottage Point

A great mistake not to build his additions as suggested in 1968. Nearly 40 years ago.
The deck and terrace would have taken advantage of the bush views.
Important to mention this and show plans when selling the house

Fragment of sketch plan which is not in very good condition. Please note new deck to the west and new terrace to the north taking advantage of bush setting.
It was unfortunat we did not go ahead with this idea but I think it was a little bit expensive at the time.?
I think it is important to have this plan when sellling as it would show future owners how they might expand ? 

"Faith & Duty the John Anderson Story" by Paul Gallagher 2006

This I think has just reached the library. It was easy to read and gave a picture of contemporary Australian politics. In fact I could not put it down
